Aircraft carrier

The aircraft carrier (空母, Kūbo^?) is an enemy from Panzer Dragoon and its remake that appears in Episode 5. It appears close to the end of the episode before the battle with the Imperial Flying Stronghold. It also appears in the cutscene that plays after Episode 1 is completed. In Panzer Dragoon Mini, the aircraft carrier is one of the bosses fought in the game.

A large number of fighter planes are stored in the hangar of the aircraft carrier. The aircraft seen in Episode 5 were stationed on this ship.^[1] Besides carrying aircraft, the aircraft carrier is also armed with airborne mines. However, the carrier itself has no combat capabilities.^[2]

The aircraft carrier is a large ship that has six conical float engines similar to the ones that the Siege Fortress possesses. The hull is made out of a silver-colored metal and has a hatch on the underside for releasing aircraft and mines.
