Airship Kartha
Airship Kartha, called Fighter Kama (戦闘機カーマ Sentōki kāma) in the Japanese version, is a vehicle that appears in Episode 4 and Episode 8 of Panzer Dragoon Orta. In Episode 4, the Airship Kartha prototype (カーマ試験機 Kāma shiken-ki) also appears, which is an experimental airship that has engines based on technology from the Ancient Age.[1]
Kartha airships were built by the Empire mainly for the purpose of anti-airship interception. The bodies of these ships are also collapsible, allowing for compact storage. This feature makes it possible to carry massive fleets of these airships.[2]
Appearance[]
The Airship Kartha is a small ship. The main body is square-shaped with two float engines attached to the sides. A long, red flag with the symbol of the Empire is attached to the back of the ship. These flags are utilized as visual signals for communication with other units.[2]
Airship Kartha prototype
The Airship Kartha prototype has a similar appearance to the non-prototype version. The main differences are that the main body of the ship is much darker, the float engines on the side are black, and the flag on the back of the ship is a yellow-green color instead of red.
