Dragon Pup (Panzer Dragoon Saga)

A dragon pup that Edge discovers inside of Shelcoof in Panzer Dragoon Saga.

During Edge’s quest, the dragon along with his rider entered the ruins of Shelcoof and into a part of the ship called the Genesis Chamber which contained a dragon crest. A hologram/spirit Blue Dragon led Edge’s dragon in the central chamber. The room was protected by a set of doors that could only be accessed by later dragon forms as if the chamber had been sealed deliberately to protect the crest within. Upon accessing the crest, a baby dragon emerged and followed Edge’s dragon around. When at the campsite, Edge wondered whether the baby dragon was the son of his dragon.

Later, when Edge’s dragon acquired all of the D-Units, he morphed into an ancient dragon form called the Light Wing. The Light Wing had been created by Ancient scientists to be the ultimate form of dragon, and it consisted of a single form that could not morph into different classes. However, Edge’s dragon did acquire a further form. Upon entering the shrine in the Forest of Zoah, Edge and his dragon discovered another crest. Edge’s dragon fused with the baby dragon and a new dragon form was created: the Solo Wing, which looked like the Type 01 from the first two games. Unlike the Light Wing, the Solo Wing could morph into attack, defense, spiritual, and agility classes which looked like the Windrider, Brigadewing, Type 02, and Skydart forms from Panzer Dragoon Zwei respectively. Edge was pleased, saying that now Sestren faced “winged death”.
