An escort aircraft.
The escort aircraft (護衛機 Goei-ki) is a small vehicle that was designed to escort battleships. They fly in a formation of five or six aircraft while escorting a battleship.[1] The only games it has appeared in are Panzer Dragoon and Panzer Dragoon: Remake. It has also appeared in the Panzer Dragoon Original Video Animation.
Escort aircraft are encountered during Episode 1's boss battle with the Naraka Class Imperial Battleship, as well as in Episode 5.
Appearance[]
The main body of the escort aircraft appears to be a white Ancient Age float engine. Attached to the sides of the float engine are four wings. In the front of the aircraft is the cockpit and two guns. This part of the escort aircraft appears to be made out of metal with a glass windshield.
