The Guardian Dragon
The Guardian Dragon (ガーディアンドラゴン Gādiandoragon) is a dragon who guarded Shelcoof. It is the antagonist of Panzer Dragoon II Zwei and also appears as a boss in Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Panzer Dragoon Zwei[]
Lagi and Lundi battle the Guardian Dragon.
The Guardian Dragon is first seen at the end of the first episode, which takes place in Elpis. Lagi flew towards Shelcoof, only for the Guardian Dragon to block his way. The Guardian Dragon is encountered again as the boss of Episode 6, emerging from a protective shell, and enhanced by Shelcoof.
It was defeated by Lundi and Lagi in the game's final episode; the Guardian Dragon is the final boss of Panzer Dragoon Zwei.
Panzer Dragoon Saga[]
Edge and Gash encounter the revived Guardian Dragon in Georgius, which was captured by the Empire. The creature was being carried by a gunship, but it woke up and destroyed the ship. Gash thought that the presence of Edge's dragon must have awakened the Guardian Dragon and talked of creatures that cannot truly die until their purpose is fulfilled.
It was defeated for good by Edge and his dragon.
Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record[]

The Guardian Dragon is set to make an appearance in the upcoming Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record. On December 31, 2020, a picture of the Guardian Dragon model was shared by the developer of the game.[1]
