Reuben was a member of the Seekers lead by Skiad Ops Gash. At the time of Panzer Dragoon Saga, he was an apprentice quester and told Edge that he wanted to finish his apprenticeship as soon as possible so that could use his skills in the battle against the monsters. He was sceptical of Edge’s dragon, worrying that he might not be friendly, but eventually told Edge that it was an honour to fight alongside the dragon. Before the battle against the infested Grig Orig, Reuben told Simeon, another Seeker, that his training would be complete soon, but it appears that it was wishful thinking on his part. He told Edge that he wished to go with the other Seekers to battle as part of the frontline defence, but had to remain behind to keep a lookout for anything suspicious at Checkpoint 5.

In the battle against the monsters near the end of Panzer Dragoon Saga, Reuben’s leg became broken and he could no longer fight. He wondered what he should do since he could not fight. When he learnt that Azel had disappeared (when she returned to Uru), Reuben despaired because without Azel it was as if the Seekers were fighting for nothing.
