Siege fortress.
The Siege Fortress (攻城要塞 Osamujō yōsai) is a ship that appears in Episode 5 of Panzer Dragoon and Panzer Dragoon: Remake. It is an aerial warship that was created to be used in siege warfare.[1]
Appearance[]
The Siege Fortress has moveable arms attached to the hull of the ship. Turrets are attached to each of these arms. The ship has three float engines, which have a conical shape like the engines of the aircraft carrier. Lights can be seen from the gaps in the ceramic-like armor, according to the Panzer Dragoon Official Guidebook,[1] but this is not seen in the original game. However, in Panzer Dragoon: Remake, some orange lights can be seen in the engines' gaps.
One other difference is that in the original game, the hull of the Siege Fortress is a light blue color. In Panzer Dragoon: Remake, the ship's hull is brown.
