Siffle was the daytime gatekeeper of the Holy District of Zoah. He shared a house in the Liberal District with Abner, the nighttime gatekeeper. During his time off, Siffle studied the manuscripts that the high priest Damon had given him in an effort to become a member of the Holy District. Siffle wished that he could do more to serve the Holy District, but believed that as a gatekeeper he could not do much.
When Siffle met Edge he considered him to be nothing more than a mere hunter, but after Edge was given a pass to the Holy District, Siffle apologized and told him, “if you’re granted a pass, it means that you are worthy to serve the Gods.”
During Panzer Dragoon Saga, Vaiman planned to cut Siffle’s pay. Siffle was concerned that he would not be able to pay his taxes because of this.
Siffle was religious, claiming that anyone would be religious if they lived in Zoah. He said about Zoah, “You can see the blessings of the Gods with your own eyes.”
