The Sixth Emperor was the first emperor of the Empire to appear in the Panzer Dragoon series. Very little is revealed about the Sixth Emperor apart from what can be gathered from the official timeline. It puts his reign from beginning before and during the events of Panzer Dragoon Zwei, and ends by the time Panzer Dragoon takes place.

Although it can be inferred that the Emperor sitting in the floating throne in the introduction sequence for Panzer Dragoon Zwei is the Sixth Emperor, Team Andromeda may have had different intentions at the time. In terms of up to date canon and based on the official timeline, he can only be the Sixth Emperor. He has a more distinctive deeper voice than his successor. In Panzer Dragoon Zwei’s introduction sequence, he orders his servant to wage war on Meccania and chase the gigantic ship (Shelcoof), and that is both the first and last time he is seen in the series.

Panzer Dragoon Zwei’s introduction shows viewers that his throne is similar to or the same as the Seventh Emperor’s floating throne. The one-eyed symbol of the Empire at the time of Panzer Dragoon Saga is unchanged from the time of the Sixth Emperor and endures into the reign of the Seventh Emperor until it is clearly distinguishable from the flag of the newest incarnation of the Empire seen in Panzer Dragoon Orta. The Sixth Emperor’s Imperial flag may have symbolized the ruling ideology of centralized power during that time, but its origins and meaning are unknown.
